Your 10 Step Internet Business Plan

When I first got started online I spent a lot of time and an unmentionable amount of money looking for the magic pill that I would take and suddenly know what I needed to know to build a profitable Internet business. I bought every new flashy product that came along. I read and studied every sales page. I learned a ton of theory and concepts that allowed me to show my friend how smart I was about the subject of Internet marketing.

The big problem was that I was always short on the kind of step by step detail that I needed to actually start, and get a real business going. Oh I tried different things and worked very hard but never made any money. Then I would get discouraged and give up for a while, only to find that eventually my dream would resurface.

In an effort to save you some of the time and frustration that I went through, I am going to give you the 10 step business blue print that I use in this post.

If you are ready to build your business, this quick 1, 2, 3 overview of the business plan that I use will give you a good basis to start with. These are the basic steps to building a simple and yet profitable business. This is the way I do it as well as many other very profitable Internet marketers.

1. Now, for the purpose of this post, I will assume that you have a niche. find a few products that you can promote until you have your own product. Look at Clickbank and Amazon for affiliate products related to your niche.

2. Buy a domain name that is related to your niche.

3. Sign up with a good autoresponder, I use aweber. Then set up a list and create a squeeze page to collect names and emails.

4. Create a product like a short 10 or 15 page e-book to give away as an incentive for people to join your list.

5. Set up a hosting account

6. Create an account at ezinarticles.com.

7. Start writing articles and submitting them to ezinearticles.com with the link in your resource box pointing to your squeeze page.

8. Write 250-300 word articles. write them as fast as you can. and submit as many as you can. (this will be an ongoing part of your strategy to drive qualified traffic to your list and build your name as an authority in your niche.

9. Make a list of 10 main topics related to your niche. Break those 10 down into 10 subtopics. Write a page (about 400-500 words) about each.

10. As you write the pages, submit them as articles to ezinearticles. Also you will compile them together to make your first e-book. Now as you are writing articles and building your list, you are also creating your first product that you will sell to your list.

This may sound simple and it really is if you know the intricacies of how to get through each step in the process.
